The Enbridge Canoe for Kids is the largest fundraiser supporting Christie Lake Kids each year. Almost 400 children and youth aged 8-15 attend 12 days of summer camp programs at the picturesque Christie Lake in Perth. These kids would not otherwise have the chance to attend camp; we cover all costs and transportation. For many, Christie Lake Camp is their only trip outside the city. While they learn about naturelore and campcraft, how to swim and canoe, they also learn how to feel successful and confident, optimistic and resilient. We also guarantee children a spot at camp year after year, where they make lifelong friendships and lasting memories.
